The sense of awareness is when you can apply past experiences and new found knowledge to identify the impact of a present or potential future situation.

Loss awareness is when you can apply your previous loss experience with new found knowledge from your loss journey to identify a present or potential loss situation.

It’s important to remember that every loss event is different and if you experience sequential loss events, avoid trying to pre-empt your feelings and/or behaviour.  Every loss event will stir up different loss feelings and in a different order than last experienced.
